Question 2

What is the Ontario HRSP rebate on a Sigenergy SigenStor 2 x BAT 9.0?

Accepted Answer

The Ontario Home Renovation Savings Program (HRSP) pays $300 per kWh of installed capacity, capped at 50% of eligible project cost or $5,000, whichever is lower. On the Sigenergy SigenStor 2 x BAT 9.0 (18.08 kWh), this works out to approximately $5,000 to $5,000. After rebate, net installed price is $13,000 to $21,000. Battery must be installed with a new solar PV system; homes on net metering do not qualify.

Question 3

What is the Sigenergy SigenStor 2 x BAT 9.0 usable capacity and RTE?

Accepted Answer

Usable capacity: 17.52 kWh. Round-trip efficiency: 93% to 95%. Chemistry: Lithium iron phosphate (LFP). Usable capacity is what the battery delivers after depth-of-discharge limits.

Question 4

Does the Sigenergy SigenStor 2 x BAT 9.0 include an inverter?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Sigenergy SigenStor 2 x BAT 9.0 includes an integrated hybrid inverter — no separate inverter purchase is required.

Question 6

Who is the Sigenergy SigenStor 2 x BAT 9.0 best for?

Accepted Answer

Larger homes with heat pump or EV load wanting maximum usable capacity in a single SigenStor stack. Key tradeoff: Hits HRSP $5,000 cap. Modules cannot be sold standalone. Same Australian recall caveat as BAT 6 — confirm with installer.
